If you prioritize lightweight portability and cost savings, the Acer Swift Go 14 may suit you better, with its more compact form and lower price. However, if you need robust performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the MSI Stealth GS66 offers a more powerful processor and GPU, as well as a higher refresh rate screen. The GS66 is on the heavier side, which impacts its portability, and it is typically more expensive. Both options support general use well, but the higher cost of the MSI reflects its specialization in performance-intensive tasks. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS66 is good for gaming and AI, while the Acer Swift Go 14 is only fair.
The MSI Stealth GS66 offers superior gaming and 3D capabilities mainly due to its Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU and a higher screen refresh rate, which provides smoother visuals and enables it to handle more graphics-intensive tasks than the Acer Swift Go 14, which comes with an Intel i7-1355U Iris Xe GPU and a standard refresh rate display. While the Swift Go 14's GPU and refresh rate are adequate for casual gaming, the Stealth GS66 is better equipped for demanding gaming and 3D applications.

The MSI Stealth GS66 is very good for engineering and design, while the Acer Swift Go 14 is good.
The MSI Stealth GS66 is very good for engineering and design due to its higher-performance CPU and GPU, which is crucial for demanding tasks, while the Acer Swift Go 14 has a lower-performance CPU and integrated graphics which may be sufficient for less intensive design work but may struggle with more complex engineering software. Additionally, the MSI has a higher refresh rate and screen size offering a more fluid visual experience, but it is also heavier and less portable compared to the lighter and more compact Acer Swift Go 14, which also offers touchscreen functionality.

The MSI Stealth GS66 has a better screen than the Acer Swift Go 14 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Acer Swift Go 14 and MSI Stealth GS66 both offer displays with high resolution and panel quality suitable for daily tasks and detailed engineering work, which prioritize color accuracy and clarity. However, for activities like gaming and 3D, their screens fall short due to lower refresh rates that can't deliver the smooth visuals such tasks demand. Despite their strengths in resolution and color reproduction, the importance of refresh rate to gaming and 3D applications makes their displays less ideal for those specific uses.

How the Acer Swift Go 14 and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Swift Go 14 is a surprising machine. Its performance, display, and battery life leave little to be desired from a device at this price. You might think it’d be cheaper given the “Go” in the name, or thinner given its close competition with thin-and-light laptops, but it manages to strike a decent enough balance between its capabilities and hardware to really stand out as an exceptional value."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
