For general use, both the Acer Swift Go 14 and Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro offer high-resolution displays with ample brightness and capable panel types, ensuring crisp, clear visuals for everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming. In engineering and design, the Lenovo stands out with superior color accuracy and a wider color gamut, making it more suitable for professionals who require precise color representation for their work. However, when it comes to gaming and 3D applications, both laptops fall short because of their lower refresh rates, which means they won't be as smooth or responsive as models specifically built for those purposes.

How the Acer Swift Go 14 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro compare to other laptops
"The Acer Swift Go 14 is a surprising machine. Its performance, display, and battery life leave little to be desired from a device at this price. You might think it’d be cheaper given the “Go” in the name, or thinner given its close competition with thin-and-light laptops, but it manages to strike a decent enough balance between its capabilities and hardware to really stand out as an exceptional value."
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
