If you prioritize performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming, the MSI Cyborg 15 with its Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU is a better fit despite having lower battery life. The Acer Swift 14 is more portable and has a higher-resolution display, which may suit general use and engineering tasks. It also offers a touch screen, longer battery life, and is lighter, making it better suited for on-the-go usage. The Acer is usually more expensive, which could be justified by its larger storage and memory. Keep in mind, the MSI has a high-refresh-rate display beneficial for fast-paced gaming but is heavier and thus less portable. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift 14 is very good for general use, while the MSI Cyborg 15 is good.
The Acer Swift 14 delivers better general use performance with a more powerful CPU, double the RAM, and a higher-resolution screen, which contributes to its higher portability due to its lighter weight and longer battery life. In comparison, the MSI Cyborg 15 offers a dedicated gaming-grade graphics card and a larger screen but is heavier and has shorter battery life, making it better suited for gaming or graphics-intensive tasks rather than portability.

The Acer Swift 14 has a better screen than the MSI Cyborg 15 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Acer Swift 14 provides a vibrant and crisp display that enhances readability and detail, a feature appreciated in general computing and design tasks due to its high resolution and brightness, while its range of color gamuts ensures that engineers and designers see accurate colors. However, its lower refresh rate can make fast-paced scenes in gaming or 3D applications seem less smooth compared to displays built for those tasks. The MSI Cyborg 15 offers a uniform viewing experience across activities with decent resolution and brightness, but without standout refresh rates or color accuracy, it doesn't excel in any specific area like gaming or professional design.

How the Acer Swift 14 and the MSI Cyborg 15 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Acer Swift 14 is good for school use. Its compact design makes it easy to carry around, and its battery lasts easily through a typical school day. You can configure the laptop with an FHD+ or QHD+ display; both look sharp and get bright enough to combat glare. The keyboard feels tactile but can be a little tiring to type on over an extended period, and while the touchpad is small, it's responsive to all movements and gestures. Its Intel 13th Gen. CPU can handle nearly every type of workload; however, its integrated graphics perform poorly, so it isn't ideal for students in technical fields like 3D graphics."
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
