The Acer Swift 14, being slightly less expensive, offers solid performance for general use with decent battery life, making it a practical choice for everyday tasks and portability. It's lighter and has a better battery life for typical usage compared to the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i. The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i, with a higher price, provides significantly better performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks thanks to its dedicated graphics card, and it has twice the RAM, which is better for multitasking and intensive applications. The Slim Pro 9i also has a higher quality display with better colors and motion handling, suitable for creative professionals, but it's heavier and less portable. If you need a laptop for high-end tasks like video editing, gaming, or 3D modeling, the Slim Pro 9i would be the more suitable option despite its higher cost and less portability. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is good for gaming and AI, while the Acer Swift 14 is only fair.
The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is equipped with an Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU and boasts a high screen refresh rate, making it highly suitable for gaming and 3D tasks. While the Acer Swift 14 features an Intel Iris Xe GPU with a lower screen refresh rate, its screen quality is still commendable for gaming and 3D, although it won't perform as well as the Lenovo in these areas.

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i has a better screen than the Acer Swift 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
For general use, the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i's display, with its high resolution and brightness, ensures crisp, clear images and easy readability under various lighting conditions, outperforming the Acer Swift 14, which still provides a good quality display but might not be as sharp or vibrant. In engineering and design, the Lenovo also leads with a wider color gamut coverage, offering more accurate colors for professional photo editing and CAD work; the Acer, while decent, falls short for color-sensitive tasks. However, for gaming and 3D, neither the Acer nor the Lenovo is ideal due to their lower refresh rates, which can't deliver the fluid motion that fast-paced gaming usually demands, despite having adequate resolution and panel type.

How the Acer Swift 14 and the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Acer Swift 14 is good for school use. Its compact design makes it easy to carry around, and its battery lasts easily through a typical school day. You can configure the laptop with an FHD+ or QHD+ display; both look sharp and get bright enough to combat glare. The keyboard feels tactile but can be a little tiring to type on over an extended period, and while the touchpad is small, it's responsive to all movements and gestures. Its Intel 13th Gen. CPU can handle nearly every type of workload; however, its integrated graphics perform poorly, so it isn't ideal for students in technical fields like 3D graphics."
"The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is an impressive laptop with a brilliant Mini-LED display, a powerful 100-watt version of Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics, and excellent connectivity. Having run the Cinebench benchmark again, we were impressed with the CPU performance. That makes the Slim Pro 9i is an easy recommendation, especially for those who care about GPU and CPU performance. It’s also a fantastic choice if you frequently view HDR movies and games on your laptop."
