The Acer Swift 14, with its lighter weight and newer processor, offers good portability and performance for general use and non-intensive engineering tasks. It has a high-resolution display and is priced in the mid-range, similar to the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15. However, the Zenbook comes with a dedicated graphics card and a larger battery, which makes it well-suited for tasks that require more graphical processing power, such as 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming. The trade-off with the Zenbook is its heavier weight and its smaller storage capacity. If portability and battery life are your main concerns, the Swift might be the better choice, but if you need higher graphical performance and can handle a less portable option, the Zenbook could serve you better. Both laptops come with the same amount of RAM, a touchscreen, and a backlit keyboard, refining their general use capabilities. Give Feedback

Rtings

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Acer Swift 14 is good for school use. Its compact design makes it easy to carry around, and its battery lasts easily through a typical school day. You can configure the laptop with an FHD+ or QHD+ display; both look sharp and get bright enough to combat glare. The keyboard feels tactile but can be a little tiring to type on over an extended period, and while the touchpad is small, it's responsive to all movements and gestures. Its Intel 13th Gen. CPU can handle nearly every type of workload; however, its integrated graphics perform poorly, so it isn't ideal for students in technical fields like 3D graphics."

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | May 2022
"The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 offers a strong CPU, chassis, and display. One of the most popular 15.6-inch prosumer or multimedia laptops out there is the Dell XPS 15. Thus, comparisons between it and the Asus Zenbook Pro 15 are inevitable. Asus has a couple of tricks up its sleeve that XPS users are still missing out on including 1080p OLED and an AMD Ryzen CPU which help separate the Zenbook Pro 15 from the XPS 15. It also integrates a numpad and a few more port options albeit at the cost of a larger chassis size."
