The Acer Swift 14, being lighter and with a higher portability score, is better if you move around a lot and need something more convenient to carry. Its display is sharper and touch-enabled, which can be beneficial for productivity and general use. On the other hand, the ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition has a more powerful graphics card and processor, making it better suited for 3D rendering, machine learning, and especially gaming, but it is significantly heavier and bulkier, which might not be ideal if you're frequently on the go. Both have similar memory and storage, so the choice largely depends on whether you prioritize mobility or high-performance computing tasks. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift 14 has a better screen than the ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition for engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition has a better screen for gaming and AI.
For general use, the Acer Swift 14's screen delivers a clearer and brighter image because of its higher resolution and better panel technology, making documents and web browsing more pleasant. In engineering and design scenarios, while both laptops have screens that appreciate color accuracy, the Swift 14 stands out with its wider color gamut coverage, which ensures more precise color reproduction for tasks like photo editing and graphic design. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the ASUS ROG Strix's screen, even with lower quality in this context, might be more suitable due to a higher refresh rate which allows for smoother motion and better responsiveness during fast-paced actions.

How the Acer Swift 14 and the ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Acer Swift 14 is good for school use. Its compact design makes it easy to carry around, and its battery lasts easily through a typical school day. You can configure the laptop with an FHD+ or QHD+ display; both look sharp and get bright enough to combat glare. The keyboard feels tactile but can be a little tiring to type on over an extended period, and while the touchpad is small, it's responsive to all movements and gestures. Its Intel 13th Gen. CPU can handle nearly every type of workload; however, its integrated graphics perform poorly, so it isn't ideal for students in technical fields like 3D graphics."
"The Asus ROG Strix G15, as the first in a line of "AMD Advantage"-branded notebooks, is a statement that yes, you can get a premium AMD gaming notebook. Maybe you can't have it all, but you can get pretty close. The ROG Strix G15's combination of the AMD Ryzen 5900HX and Radeon RX 6800M, as well as other technologies that take advantage of them, make a potent, thin gaming machine. Powerful Dolby Atmos speakers and long battery life when you aren't gaming are nice bonuses."
