The Acer Swift 14 is more affordable and offers high portability with a good balance for general use, while the ASUS ROG Flow X13, though more expensive, provides superior performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks, as well as intensive gaming, thanks to its high-end GPU. The ROG Flow X13 has a higher battery capacity which may result in longer usage time, but it also carries a bit more weight which might affect its portability somewhat. Both have similar screen size and resolution with touch capability, but the ASUS has a much higher refresh rate which is great for fast-paced visuals. Give Feedback

Rtings

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Acer Swift 14 is good for school use. Its compact design makes it easy to carry around, and its battery lasts easily through a typical school day. You can configure the laptop with an FHD+ or QHD+ display; both look sharp and get bright enough to combat glare. The keyboard feels tactile but can be a little tiring to type on over an extended period, and while the touchpad is small, it's responsive to all movements and gestures. Its Intel 13th Gen. CPU can handle nearly every type of workload; however, its integrated graphics perform poorly, so it isn't ideal for students in technical fields like 3D graphics."

NotebookCheck

Sebastian Bade | February 2021
"The Asus ROG Flow X13 is not an off-the-shelf convertible. This quickly becomes clear when you take a closer look at the technical specs. The AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS is a state-of-the-art SoC with 8 cores and 16 threads, which also makes the 2-in-1 interesting as a work device. With 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD, gamers are also well taken care of. The dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q fits well into the overall concept and ensures a solid 3D performance. With the eGPU dock, which is equipped with a GeForce RTX 3080, the small convertible transforms into a full-fledged desktop replacement in terms of performance."
