The Acer Predator Triton 300 is less expensive and well-suited for gaming with its dedicated graphics capabilities, good refresh rate, and hardware for ray tracing. It however has a lower resolution screen and lower battery life compared to the Lenovo ThinkPad Z16. On the other hand, if you are willing to invest more for premium features, the Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 offers a higher resolution OLED touchscreen, more storage and RAM, superior battery life, and a lighter and slightly thinner design that enhances portability. The Z16, with its AMD Ryzen processor and RX graphics, can still handle engineering tasks and gaming but may not match the Predator in GPU-intensive scenarios. The ThinkPad also has a higher-quality build and keyboard, making it a better option for professional and general use. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Mike Wobker | December 2020
"In our particular review configuration, the Acer Predator Triton 300 turned out to be a fairly powerful gaming notebook. Both CPU and GPU performance were at a high level, and the aluminum case turned out to be fairly robust. Only the display lid could have been a bit more robust. For customers on a budget that do not mind tinkering with the device’s fan management the Acer Predator Triton 300 can be worth a closer look."

PCWorld

Matthew S. Smith | September 2022
"Lenovo’s ThinkPad Z16 tries has some success in its effort to tweak the ThinkPad formula. The laptop is attractive, yet still tame, and material quality is on par with the best Windows competition. I also like the smooth, responsive haptic touchpad and the wide range of modern connectivity. Yet the Z16 doesn’t fix ThinkPad’s typical weakness: value. Starting around $1,550, and more typically near $1,700, the Z16 finds itself facing alternatives that have better performance or an improved display for the same price, or less."
