Considering the Acer Predator Triton 300 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15", the main differences to consider hinge upon performance, display quality, and price. The Lenovo Legion, though typically less expensive, boasts a newer graphics card and a higher resolution display, which may prove advantageous for gaming and creative tasks requiring high visual fidelity. On the other hand, the Acer Predator has a slightly lighter and thinner design, potentially making it a better fit for those prioritizing portability. Battery life is comparable, so your decision should weigh the importance of display quality, in-game performance, and price against the ease of carrying the device. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is very good for engineering and design, while the Acer Predator Triton 300 is good.
The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is very good for engineering and design partly due to its higher resolution screen and stronger GPU, both of which are critical for rendering and visual detail, whereas the Acer Predator Triton 300's slightly lower-end GPU and screen resolution make it just good for these tasks. Additionally, the Lenovo has a better keyboard which is beneficial for long coding or design sessions, although it's less portable and heavier than the Acer, which may be a drawback for users often on the move.

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen than the Acer Predator Triton 300 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
When looking for a laptop for general use, both the Acer Predator Triton 300 and Lenovo Legion 5 offer quality displays with adequate brightness and resolution, ensuring clarity and comfort for everyday tasks. For engineering and design work where color accuracy is critical, the Acer's display meets the necessary wide color gamuts, while the Lenovo's very good screen quality suggests it also covers a broad range of colors, although to a slightly lesser extent. However, for gaming and 3D applications where a high refresh rate is key, both models fall short, as their displays lack the high refresh rate that's ideal for smooth motion and fast-paced visuals.

How the Acer Predator Triton 300 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"In our particular review configuration, the Acer Predator Triton 300 turned out to be a fairly powerful gaming notebook. Both CPU and GPU performance were at a high level, and the aluminum case turned out to be fairly robust. Only the display lid could have been a bit more robust. For customers on a budget that do not mind tinkering with the device’s fan management the Acer Predator Triton 300 can be worth a closer look."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
