The Acer Predator Triton 300 is significantly more expensive than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3, but it offers better performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, gaming, and engineering tasks due to its more powerful processor and GPU. However, its battery life is shorter than the IdeaPad, and it's also heavier, making it less portable. The IdeaPad Slim 3 is more affordable and has longer battery life, making it more suitable for general use and better for those who prioritize portability and cost. The IdeaPad also has a touch screen, unlike the Predator Triton 300, which may be an advantage for some users. Give Feedback

The Acer Predator Triton 300 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, the Acer Predator Triton 300 offers a high-resolution display and bright screen, which makes text sharp and images vibrant, while the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 has a more modest resolution and brightness, compromising some clarity and color intensity. In engineering and design, the Acer's screen covers a wider range of colors, making it suitable for professionals who need accurate color representation for their work, unlike the Lenovo which may not display colors as precisely. When it comes to 3D and gaming, the Acer's lower refresh rate can lead to less smooth visuals in fast-paced scenes, while the Lenovo's screen quality does not improve this experience and both might not satisfy gamers or 3D designers looking for the most fluid motion.

How the Acer Predator Triton 300 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 compare to other laptops
"In our particular review configuration, the Acer Predator Triton 300 turned out to be a fairly powerful gaming notebook. Both CPU and GPU performance were at a high level, and the aluminum case turned out to be fairly robust. Only the display lid could have been a bit more robust. For customers on a budget that do not mind tinkering with the device’s fan management the Acer Predator Triton 300 can be worth a closer look."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | May 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i is decent for use as a workstation. Its Intel CPU and integrated graphics can only handle light productivity tasks, not demanding workloads like video editing or 3D graphics. You also can't do any color-critical work because the available displays have a narrow color gamut. It has a good port selection, but its USB-C lacks Thunderbolt 4 support. On the upside, it has a comfortable keyboard and doesn't get hot or loud under load."
