Considering the Acer Predator Triton 300 and the ASUS Zenbook Pro 17, if high performance in 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering applications is essential, the ASUS with its higher RAM and more powerful processor is the better choice. However, it is slightly bulkier and less portable than the Acer. The Acer, being less expensive and having a higher refresh rate display, is more suitable for intensive gaming and is easier to carry around if you travel frequently, but it has less storage and RAM compared to the ASUS. Both are equipped with backlit keyboards, ample display outputs, and ray tracing capable GPUs, but the ASUS has a longer battery life, which could be very beneficial for extended use without access to power. "In our particular review configuration, the Acer Predator Triton 300 turned out to be a fairly powerful gaming notebook. Both CPU and GPU performance were at a high level, and the aluminum case turned out to be fairly robust. Only the display lid could have been a bit more robust. For customers on a budget that do not mind tinkering with the device’s fan management the Acer Predator Triton 300 can be worth a closer look."
