When choosing between the Acer Predator Triton 300 and the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15, consider that the ASUS provides superior performance with a more robust processor and better graphics card, which will excel at 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming. However, it is more expensive and slightly heavier, making it less portable. Meanwhile, the Acer is more affordable, a bit lighter for better portability, and still offers good general use and gaming performance, but it might not handle intensive engineering tasks as effectively as the ASUS. The Acer has a longer battery life for typical use, which could be important if you're often away from power outlets. Both laptops have good screen quality and are not touch-enabled, and they both have backlit keyboards with a number pad. Give Feedback

How the Acer Predator Triton 300 and the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 compare to other laptops
"In our particular review configuration, the Acer Predator Triton 300 turned out to be a fairly powerful gaming notebook. Both CPU and GPU performance were at a high level, and the aluminum case turned out to be fairly robust. Only the display lid could have been a bit more robust. For customers on a budget that do not mind tinkering with the device’s fan management the Acer Predator Triton 300 can be worth a closer look."
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
