If you need a laptop primarily for gaming or engineering software that demands a strong graphics card, the Acer Predator Helios 300 would be a better choice due to its dedicated Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU. However, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less ideal for frequent travel. On the other hand, the Lenovo Flex 5 14 offers better portability with a lighter design and longer battery life, touch screen, and a higher resolution display, but it has integrated graphics, making it better suited for general use and not for graphic-intensive tasks. The Lenovo is also typically less expensive than the Acer. Give Feedback

The Acer Predator Helios 300 has a better screen than the Lenovo Flex 5 14 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design, while the Lenovo Flex 5 14 has a better screen for content creation, and software development.
The Acer Predator Helios 300 offers a display that provides clear and vibrant visuals making it suitable for tasks like engineering and design, which benefit from its wide color gamut coverage, but for gaming, its slower refresh rate may not deliver the smoothest experience. The Lenovo Flex 5 14, with its fair screen quality, can handle everyday tasks adequately, but its color accuracy and range may not meet professional design standards, and its modest refresh rate isn't ideal for the fast-paced visuals needed in gaming and 3D applications. For general use, both laptops offer suitable resolution and brightness, but their limitations in color range and refresh rate respectively might affect users looking for high-end design work or gaming performance.

How the Acer Predator Helios 300 and the Lenovo Flex 5 14 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Predator Helios 300 review is an overclocked gaming laptop with a good display. The Predator is large, heavy, and loud, but also offers plenty of performance according to gamers. An overclocked gaming laptop - or its user - also has to struggle with the usual disadvantages we mentioned above. On the other hand, overclocking is optional, and those who like it quieter and can live with a few less frames per second can also switch to the significantly more moderate Standard mode. Then the Helios 300 won't be any louder than the competitors."
"The highlight of the latest IdeaPad Flex 5 14 is clearly its AMD CPU. The octa-core Ryzen 7 5700U is insanely fast even when compared to the best Tiger Lake Ultrabooks in the market or even Core H CPUs in many gaming laptops. It's a lot of raw processing power for what is supposed to be a budget 14-inch convertible. If your daily workloads can benefit from extra multi-thread CPU performance, then look no further than the inexpensive AMD-powered Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14. For regular on-the-road browsing or video streaming, however, a slimmer and lighter 10th gen Core Yoga, Spectre, or XPS would be a more balanced option."
