The Acer Predator Helios 300 is a more expensive option but offers superior performance for intensive tasks like gaming and engineering due to its high-end processor and powerful dedicated graphics card. It's less portable due to its heavier build but is well-suited for demanding applications and has a better refresh rate which is ideal for smooth visuals in fast-moving games. The Dell Inspiron 15 3525 is more affordable and offers touchscreen functionality, aimed at general use with satisfactory performance for everyday tasks. It's more portable and has longer battery life, making it a good choice for those who prioritize mobility and casual use over raw power. Give Feedback

The Acer Predator Helios 300 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3525 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
The Acer Predator Helios 300 has a display with higher resolution and brightness which benefits general use and engineering tasks that require clarity and color accuracy, but the lower refresh rate limits its appeal for gaming and 3D work where smoother motion is crucial. The Dell Inspiron 15 3525's screen provides a balance adequate for everyday tasks and engineering work, but doesn't excel in any particular area, with fair resolution and color representation but not standout features for high-end needs. Both laptops fall short for gaming and 3D applications where a high refresh rate is key for fluid visuals, making them less ideal choices for those specific purposes.

How the Acer Predator Helios 300 and the Dell Inspiron 15 3525 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Predator Helios 300 review is an overclocked gaming laptop with a good display. The Predator is large, heavy, and loud, but also offers plenty of performance according to gamers. An overclocked gaming laptop - or its user - also has to struggle with the usual disadvantages we mentioned above. On the other hand, overclocking is optional, and those who like it quieter and can live with a few less frames per second can also switch to the significantly more moderate Standard mode. Then the Helios 300 won't be any louder than the competitors."
"Dell's Inspiron 15 (3525) is a peppy-enough and affordable-enough home or remote work machine, but it's not very ambitious; it does little to go beyond the basics. More the concern: It’s readily overshadowed by a number of machines that outperform and outclass it. Even if the Inspiron can get the job done today, its competition has the mettle to keep doing the job tomorrow in a way the Inspiron simply can’t promise. Many of its slightly higher-end rivals have to be on sale (and frequently are) to match it on price, but the Inspiron 15 (3525) is outclassed even by some similarly priced options, making it a difficult recommendation."
