The Acer Nitro 5 17 is well suited for intensive engineering tasks, 3D work, machine learning, and gaming due to its powerful AMD Ryzen processor and high-end Nvidia graphics card. It also has a larger, higher resolution display, which is good for productivity and entertainment, but this means it's heavier and less portable. On the other hand, the ASUS R410MA is much more affordable and lightweight, making it a better choice for general use like web browsing, document editing, and other basic tasks. Its Intel Celeron processor and integrated graphics, however, are not ideal for demanding applications or gaming. The Acer also has a significantly larger storage capacity and more memory, which contributes to better multitasking and performance for challenging software. If you're on a tight budget and only need a laptop for simple tasks, the ASUS R410MA could meet your needs while saving you money, but for more demanding use, the Acer Nitro 5 17 would be the better option despite its higher cost and reduced portability. NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | August 2021
"The Acer Nitro 5 17 is a solid mid-range gamer. The Nitro 5 does not belong to the top group of RTX 3070 notebooks: Compared with the RTX 3070 notebooks tested so far, the computer delivers below-average frame rates - this is due to the 100-watt TGP. The GPU performance can be increased a bit with a firmware update. The device scores with a high level of CPU performance. Throttling is not a concern. CPU and GPU can produce their performance constantly. The laptop heats up moderately under load. The noise development is on the usual class level."

PCMag

Matthew Buzzi | August 2021
"The Asus Laptop L410 is a super-affordable PC, even among budget notebooks, compromising on the display and processing power to deliver a serviceable Windows machine with good battery life and useful ports. The build is reasonably solid, there’s a good mix of ports, battery life is long enough, and it can perform basic everyday tasks. On the flip side, the screen is poor, anything other than basic tasks is a tough ask, and it has little memory and even less storage."
