The MSI Stealth GS66 has a better screen than the Acer Nitro 5 15 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Acer Nitro 5 15 offers an adequate display resolution, brightness, and panel type that work well for browsing and video streaming, making it suitable for general use, but limited color gamut and lower refresh rates impair performance for color-sensitive engineering tasks and fast-paced gaming respectively. The MSI Stealth GS66, equipped with a similarly good resolution and brightness, also excels in general use and provides a wider color gamut for accurate color reproduction required in engineering and design, however, its lower refresh rate might hinder the smooth visuals desired in gaming and 3D applications. Both laptops may not fully satisfy avid gamers or 3D designers looking for the highest refresh rates, which are crucial for fluid motion and a more immersive experience.

How the Acer Nitro 5 15 and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Nitro 5 is a fast QHD gaming notebook. The Nitro 5 is a well-balanced gaming laptop for just under US$ 2400. A Core i7-12700H CPU and a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU enable QHD gaming at high to maximum settings, accompanied by fast PCIe-4-SSD (1 TB) and 16 GB of RAM. Acer delivers a solid QHD gaming notebook with the Nitro 5 AN515-58. However, the laptop is not completely free of shortcomings. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The laptop heats up noticeably under load, but not excessively. Noise development is on the usual class level. Once again, however, Acer needs to improve the fan control."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
