When choosing between the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s, consider that the Acer is a larger 15.6-inch laptop with decent general performance, longer battery life, and is well-suited for general use but less portable due to its size and weight. On the other hand, the Lenovo is a more portable 13.3-inch laptop with a higher resolution screen, better build and speaker quality, and superior performance in general use and engineering tasks thanks to a more potent processor. Both have similar storage and RAM, sufficient for everyday tasks, but the Lenovo offers a touchscreen and better portability with only a slight sacrifice in battery life compared to the Acer. The Lenovo ThinkBook 13s has a better screen than the Acer Aspire Vero 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
When considering the Acer Aspire Vero 15, its screen has the basic characteristics suitable for tasks like web browsing and video streaming but may not provide the color accuracy and contrast that engineering and design work usually requires; its lower screen quality becomes evident in gaming and 3D applications due to a lack of high refresh rates and the resolution potentially being lower than desired. The Lenovo ThinkBook 13s, on the other hand, offers a display with higher resolution and brightness, making it a better fit for general use and activities that demand clear, sharp visuals like engineering and design, but like the Aspire, it falls short for gaming and 3D because of its standard refresh rate. Neither laptop is equipped with the high refresh rates or specialized panels that gaming and 3D modeling crave, which is crucial for fluid motion and detailed textures.

The Lenovo ThinkBook 13s and Acer Aspire Vero 15 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15 and Lenovo ThinkBook 13s are both adequate for gaming and 3D applications because they come with integrated Iris Xe graphics which are sufficient for less demanding games, and they both have 60Hz screen refresh rates which is the standard for regular activities but not ideal for high-frame-rate gaming. Where they differ is in screen quality and resolution; the ThinkBook's higher resolution and screen quality provide sharper images and more workspace, essential for a more immersive gaming and 3D experience, but still within a fair performance category due to the limitations of their integrated GPUs.

How the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."
"The best thing about the ThinkBook 13S is that it’s a good deal. Business buyers looking for ThinkPad-level performance and software without ThinkPad pricing will probably find the ThinkBook a solid option. While nothing about it is really spectacular, it’s certainly unusual to see the ThinkBook’s screen resolution at a sub-$1,000 price, and its performance will be more than adequate for most office tasks. The generous port selection, 16:10 aspect ratio, physical webcam shutter, and clear audio are certainly icing on the cake."
