Choosing between the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and the MSI Modern 14 involves considering their features and your needs. The Acer has a slightly larger screen and slightly higher battery capacity, which might make it a better choice if you prefer a larger display and longer use between charges. However, the MSI is lighter and more portable, making it easier to carry around if you're on the move. Both laptops have similar storage and memory, and neither is designed for intensive gaming. The Acer is generally more costly, so if budget is a concern, the MSI may be more appealing. If you require high general use performance and do not mind the extra weight and cost, the Acer could be suitable. However, if portability and price are your primary considerations, the MSI would be a wise choice. Give Feedback

The MSI Modern 14 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire Vero 15 for general use, and engineering and design.
For general use, both the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and MSI Modern 14 offer displays that provide a clear picture with adequate brightness and resolution; however, they lack the exceptional color vibrancy and sharpness that higher-end panels offer. In engineering and design, their screens exhibit fair color accuracy covering various color spectrums, but they don't achieve the high fidelity required by professionals for precise color work. When it comes to gaming and 3D applications, the refresh rates on these laptops aren't high enough to provide the smooth visuals preferred by gamers, although the resolution and panel technology may suffice for casual play.

The Acer Aspire Vero 15 and MSI Modern 14 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15 and MSI Modern 14 are both considered fair for gaming and 3D because they have integrated GPUs, which are less powerful than dedicated graphics cards, and standard screen refresh rates that are suitable for basic tasks but not ideal for high-end gaming. Additionally, while their CPUs are capable, the screen quality is adequate for general use, they don't reach the high standards required for the best gaming or 3D experiences.

How the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and the MSI Modern 14 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."
Alexander Tozzi, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | October 2023
"The MSI Modern 14 is okay for school use. It's very compact, so it's easy to carry around. It has a sharp display, a spacious keyboard, and a reasonably large touchpad. Its Intel 13th Gen CPU and integrated graphics can handle general productivity tasks like text processing and web browsing; however, don't expect to do anything intensive like 3D modeling or physics simulations. Unfortunately, the battery lasts less than five hours of light use, and the display doesn't get bright enough to combat glare."
