The Acer Aspire Vero 15 offers more storage and memory, which is better for multitasking and data-intensive tasks. The Vero's processor is also more powerful, making it suitable for demanding applications. However, it's heavier and larger, reducing portability. The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 is lighter and has a smaller footprint, making it easier to carry around. It has a touchscreen and a higher-resolution screen despite its smaller size, which could be attractive for mobile use and media consumption. Both are similarly priced, so the choice hinges on whether you prioritize performance and storage or portability and touchscreen convenience. Give Feedback

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire Vero 15 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15, with its fair screen quality, offers a balanced display for everyday tasks due to adequate resolution and brightness but lacks the advanced color gamut needed for precision in engineering and design, and its lower refresh rate limits the smoothness required for gaming and 3D work. In contrast, the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2's display, while also not suitable for the high refresh demands of gaming and 3D applications, provides sharper image quality and more accurate colors, benefiting general use and work that involves design and engineering tasks. Both laptops, however, may not fully satisfy users who need exceptionally high refresh rates for fluid motion in gaming or 3D modeling.

The Acer Aspire Vero 15 and Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 are both only fair for engineering and design.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15 is better suited for engineering and design tasks due to its stronger Intel i7 processor, double the RAM, and a dedicated number pad which can be vital for productivity, whereas the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2, with a slightly less powerful Intel i5 processor and half the RAM, will not perform as well in these intensive tasks despite its higher portability and touchscreen feature. In terms of screen quality, both have comparable IPS panels, but the Acer's larger screen and resolution may benefit design work, while the Surface's exceptional portability and superior speaker quality could be more attractive for those frequently on the move or engaged in multimedia tasks.

How the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."
"The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 review is a compact companion with old hardware. The Surface Laptop Go 2 shows some weaknesses. Microsoft didn't really develop the second generation of the Surface Laptop Go 2 any further but has only equipped it with a slightly more powerful Core i5 processor. However, the performance still remains at a fairly low level overall, but for many users, it definitely should still be sufficient for everyday tasks."
