If you prioritize powerful performance and higher-quality display for tasks like photo editing or watching high-resolution content, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro is a suitable choice; it comes with a sharper screen and typically performs better in these areas. However, if you're looking for a laptop that may be more cost-effective and offers similar capabilities for everyday use, the Acer Aspire Vero 15 can be a better value. Keep in mind, the Lenovo is also lighter and may have a better build quality, making it more portable, but this comes with a higher price tag. Give Feedback

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro has a better screen than the Acer Aspire Vero 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro's higher resolution, superior panel type, and brightness offer clearer and more vibrant visuals, making it more suitable for everyday tasks and media consumption compared to the Acer Aspire Vero 15. When considering engineering and design, the Lenovo also takes the edge with its better coverage of color gamuts like DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB, which is crucial for color accuracy in professional work; the Acer's fair screen, while adequate, doesn't quite meet these higher standards. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops fall short due to their poor refresh rates, even though they have decent resolutions and panel types, they aren't optimized for the smooth visuals and fast response times that gamers typically seek.

The Acer Aspire Vero 15 and Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15 and Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro are both fair options for gaming and 3D tasks primarily because they share similar integrated GPUs, which can handle moderate gaming but are not as powerful as dedicated gaming GPUs. While the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro offers a higher screen refresh rate conducive to smoother visuals in gaming, its GPU and the Vero's are still not top-of-the-line for the heaviest 3D applications, and both laptops have decent, but not high-end, CPUs relevant to gaming performance.

Although they have very similar scores, PerfectRec considers Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro to be good for engineering and design, while the Acer Aspire Vero 15 is only fair.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15 and Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro are suited for engineering and design due to their capable CPUs and substantial RAM, which facilitate multitasking and complex computations. While both have high-quality IPS screens, the Lenovo's higher resolution and touchscreen offer an edge in screen quality, but the Acer's larger screen may be preferable for extensive design work; both suffer from moderate portability due to their sizes.

How the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
