The Acer Aspire Vero 15 offers stronger performance suitable for tasks like 3D modeling and machine learning, as well as better general use with higher RAM capacity. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 has better battery life, making it more ideal for longer use away from power sources. The Acer's display has higher color accuracy beneficial for creative work, while the Lenovo's larger screen is better for multitasking and comfortable viewing. The Aspire Vero is slightly more portable due to lower weight despite having a smaller screen. The Lenovo, having a lower price, provides a more cost-effective option albeit with less multitasking capability due to lower RAM. If portability and color-sensitive tasks are less of a priority, and longer battery life is appealing, consider the Lenovo IdeaPad 3. If you require increased performance for demanding applications and better display quality, the Acer Aspire Vero 15 would be more appropriate. Give Feedback

The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" has a better screen than the Acer Aspire Vero 15 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15's screen offers adequate resolution and brightness for everyday tasks but lacks the wider color gamut needed for precision in engineering and design, while its lower refresh rate makes it less suitable for the smooth visuals demanded by gaming and 3D applications. The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" provides a more vivid and accurately colored display crucial for detailed engineering and design work, with a suitable resolution and brightness for general use, but like the Acer, it falls short in gaming due to a refresh rate that doesn't meet the high standards required for optimal gaming experiences. In both cases, the shortfall for gaming is due to the lower refresh rate, which is less of a concern for general use and engineering tasks where color accuracy and resolution take precedence.

The Acer Aspire Vero 15 and Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15's Intel Iris Xe graphics and the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17's AMD Vega 7 graphics are entry-level GPUs suitable for moderate gaming, but may struggle with more demanding 3D tasks; both have standard 60Hz refresh rates, which are fine for casual gaming but not ideal for competitive gameplay that benefits from higher refresh rates. Additionally, the Acer's screen may appear less color-accurate and vivid compared to the Lenovo, which could impact visual gaming experiences, though both provide sufficient resolution for general use.

The Acer Aspire Vero 15 and Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" are both only fair for engineering and design.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15 is considered good for engineering and design use thanks to its higher performance CPU, more RAM, and strong GPU which are crucial for demanding tasks, though its smaller screen size means less real estate for work but greater portability. Conversely, the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" has a larger screen that benefits design work, yet its lower RAM and less powerful CPU and GPU limit its capability for engineering applications, despite offering better portability and a quieter operating noise.

How the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" defies expectations. Indeed, it is just a minor upgrade over last year. However, this doesn’t make the laptop any less terrific. It’s got a great performance, courtesy of the Ryzen 5x25U processors. In addition, you get a pretty good battery life. Perhaps, the 2-hour decrease in video playback, compared to last year is not great, but still, 10 hours of Web browsing and 7 hours of video playback is okay for 17-inch notebooks."
