The Acer Aspire Vero 15 is a lower midrange priced laptop that is significantly less expensive than the Gigabyte Aorus 15X and is lighter in weight, making it more portable. However, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X offers a higher performance processor, more advanced graphics capabilities, a larger battery capacity, and a higher resolution display, which makes it more suitable for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming but at a higher price, with more weight and potentially shorter battery life due to the more powerful components. The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is very good for gaming and AI, while the Acer Aspire Vero 15 is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15X offers superior gaming and 3D performance compared to the Acer Aspire Vero 15 primarily due to its higher-end Nvidia RTX 4070 graphics card and a higher screen refresh rate for smoother gameplay, while the Acer has a more modest Intel Iris Xe graphics and a standard refresh rate. Although both have similar CPU and screen quality, these GPU and refresh rate differences are more impactful for gaming and 3D tasks; thus, the Aorus 15X excels in these areas.

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen than the Acer Aspire Vero 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15's screen, while adequate for tasks like browsing and video streaming, may lack the sharpness and brightness that more expensive models offer. For engineering and design, the color range it covers may not meet professional standards for accuracy and breadth, limiting its effectiveness for detail-oriented visual work. When it comes to 3D applications and gaming, the lower refresh rate can result in less smooth motion and responsiveness, detracting from immersive and competitive experiences where higher rates are crucial.

"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
