If portability is a high priority, the Framework Laptop is lighter and more compact than the Acer Aspire Vero. For those needing substantial on-screen detail for tasks like photo editing, the Framework Laptop offers a higher resolution display. However, if you prefer a larger screen and more storage out of the box, the Acer Aspire Vero provides a bigger screen and double the storage capacity. The Acer also has a more powerful processor, which might be better for demanding software and multitasking. Framework's advantage is its repairability and upgrade-friendly design, which could extend its lifespan. Both laptops have similar battery life, so it's worth considering other factors like screen size, resolution, and upgradability when making a decision. Give Feedback

How the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and the Framework Laptop 13 (2023) compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."
"If you’re thinking of investing in your first Framework, now is the time. The kinks and rough edges have all been smoothed out and this is a very nice machine with a bright, upgradable future. The only reason I can think of to wait is the AMD model, which I’ll be sure to test as soon as I can get my hands on one."
