The Acer Aspire Vero 15 is more affordable and provides adequate performance for general use, featuring an efficient processor suited for daily tasks, a quality keyboard, and a respectable battery life. It has a basic integrated graphics card which might struggle with intensive 3D tasks and gaming. On the other hand, the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is more expensive but offers superior performance due to a high-end processor and a powerful dedicated graphics card, making it ideal for gaming, 3D rendering, and engineering software. It has a higher refresh rate display for smooth visuals but comes at the cost of battery life and is heavier, thus less portable. Choose the Acer for cost-effective, everyday computing or the ASUS if you need high performance for gaming or professional work but are willing to pay more and cope with reduced portability and battery life. The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire Vero 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.

How the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
