When considering the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and the ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition, think about your primary needs. The Acer offers eco-friendliness and decent performance for everyday tasks at a lower price, making it suitable for general use and those prioritizing sustainability. On the other hand, the ASUS is built for gaming and higher performance needs, such as 3D modeling or intensive engineering software, with its more powerful graphics and processing capabilities; however, it comes at a higher cost, has less battery life, and is less portable due to its weight and size. Choose the Acer if you want a balance between price and performance for daily tasks, or the ASUS if you need premium performance for specialized applications and are okay with a heavier laptop and higher investment. Matt Elliott | October 2021
"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."

Andrew E. Freedman | August 2022
"The Asus ROG Strix G15, as the first in a line of "AMD Advantage"-branded notebooks, is a statement that yes, you can get a premium AMD gaming notebook. Maybe you can't have it all, but you can get pretty close. The ROG Strix G15's combination of the AMD Ryzen 5900HX and Radeon RX 6800M, as well as other technologies that take advantage of them, make a potent, thin gaming machine. Powerful Dolby Atmos speakers and long battery life when you aren't gaming are nice bonuses."
