For general use, the Acer Aspire Go 14 offers excellent value with its budget-friendly price, solid performance, and impressive battery life, making it a great choice for everyday tasks and portability. Its screen has a higher resolution and pixel density, which is beneficial for clearer text and images. However, if your needs include gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning, the MSI GF63 Thin, despite being pricier, provides better performance with its dedicated Nvidia GTX 1650 Max-Q GPU, which will handle these tasks more effectively. The MSI also has a larger screen with a wider color gamut, advantageous for immersive gaming and more vivid visuals. Keep in mind that the MSI is less portable due to its larger size and shorter battery life, and it comes with an older version of Windows. Consider the Acer for its portability and efficiency in general use, or the MSI for its superior gaming and graphics capabilities if you're willing to compromise on portability and battery life. NotebookCheck

Florian Glaser | January 2020
"If you leave aside the meagre port selection (no card reader, no DisplayPort, no Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 Gen2), the fan control that could be improved (idle mode!) and the relatively dark and slow display, the MSI GF63 Thin 9SC does not have any major weaknesses. The 15-inch gamer is compact, has a low weight and offers a good price-to-performance ratio, which should please gamers that are looking for both a portable and an affordable gaming notebook. Input devices, battery life, case quality and performance are all appropriate for this purchase price."
