For everyday tasks, the Acer Aspire Go 14 offers solid performance at a budget-friendly price, with a decent screen for general use and excellent battery life, making it a great choice for those who prioritize portability and longevity on a single charge. However, it falls short in gaming and intensive tasks due to its less powerful processor and lack of advanced features like a high refresh rate screen or hardware ray tracing. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" is designed for those who need more power, particularly gamers and professionals involved in 3D rendering, machine learning, or engineering. It boasts a high-performance CPU and GPU, a high-resolution screen with a fast refresh rate, and a wide color gamut, which is ideal for detailed visual work and smooth gaming experiences. It also includes Thunderbolt connectivity and advanced cooling, but sacrifices some battery life and portability due to its larger size and higher power consumption. In summary, choose the Acer for its affordability and battery life if your needs are basic, but opt for the Lenovo for its superior performance in demanding applications and better display quality if you're willing to compromise on portability and price. NotebookCheck

Benjamin Herzig | November 2022
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
