For general use, the Acer Aspire Go 14 offers excellent value with its budget-friendly price, solid performance for everyday tasks, and a sharp display with a taller 16:10 aspect ratio, making it a strong contender for everyday productivity. However, it falls short in gaming and intensive tasks due to its less powerful GPU and CPU. It's also not suitable for intensive gaming. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion 7, while pricier, is built for high performance, featuring a powerful CPU and GPU combo that excels in gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks. Its 165Hz refresh rate and superior color accuracy also make it a better choice for engineering tasks and fast-motion content. The Legion 7 includes hardware ray tracing and DLSS, enhancing gaming and graphics performance. It's heavier and has a shorter battery life, but if you need top-tier performance and are willing to compromise on portability and cost, it's the way to go. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | September 2022
"The Lenovo Legion 7 is a fast 16-inch gamer with 165 Hz display. The new Lenovo Legion 7 is a very good gaming notebook that, despite its comparatively compact compact 16-inch case, does not have to do without the most powerful components. Thanks to good cooling, no compromises are made in terms of performance. Both the Core i9-12900HX and the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti perform at a very high level."
