The Acer Aspire 5 17 is more affordable and provides a large 17.3-inch screen, which is good for productivity and media consumption but less portable due to its size. In comparison, the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo is more expensive but offers a higher resolution 14-inch touchscreen, more storage, and better performance with its advanced processor. It's also more portable and has a higher battery capacity, making it suitable for people on the go or needing extra performance for engineering, 3D, or machine learning tasks. Give Feedback

The MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 5 17 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
When selecting a laptop for general use, you want a display that's sharp, bright, and vibrant, which the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo offers, while the Acer Aspire 5's screen may seem less vivid and dimmer in comparison. For engineering and design work, accurate color representation is key, and the MSI with its wider color gamuts will render hues more precisely than the Acer, which may not reproduce colors with the same fidelity. However, if you're into gaming or 3D applications, the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo and the Acer Aspire 5 may both be less suitable due to their lower refresh rates, leading to less smooth visuals in fast-paced scenarios.

The MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo and Acer Aspire 5 17 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Acer Aspire 5 17 and MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo are both considered fair for gaming and 3D primarily because they share integrated graphics with a screen refresh rate capped at 60Hz, which is adequate for casual gaming but not ideal for high-refresh-rate experiences. Despite the MSI's higher resolution screen and better CPU, neither have dedicated graphics cards, making them less suitable for more demanding gaming and 3D tasks.

How the Acer Aspire 5 17 and the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire 5 17 laptop shows the expected strengths in the test. Besides the usual high build quality, the configuration convinces in most benchmarks and tests. The combination of CPU, GPU, and RAM is absolutely sufficient for the everyday office and browsing tasks of a laptop. It also renders the odd game passably if the requirements aren't too high. We liked the matte display in the test as well as the fairly manageable dimensions despite the screen size. It can also be used outdoors, even if it's certainly not a laptop designed for mobility."
"The MSI Summit E14 Flip convertible review: a legit alternative to HP, Dell or Lenovo. Instead of taking the 13-inch Summit E13 Flip and simply enlarging it for a 14-inch form factor, the Summit E14 Flip is the full chassis redesign we've been looking for. It loses some of the golden trims of its smaller sibling, but the gains in rigidity and build quality are arguably worth it especially from a professional standpoint where reliability takes priority. It doesn't quite feel as strong as the HP Spectre just yet, but it's certainly getting close."
