For general use, the Acer Aspire 5 17 offers a larger screen which can be more comfortable for extended periods, and it's usually a bit more budget-friendly. However, it has a lower performance ceiling, which means it might struggle with more demanding tasks like gaming or intensive engineering work. Its portability is also limited due to its size and weight.
On the other hand, the Lenovo LOQ 15i, while pricier, packs a punch with its more powerful processor and dedicated Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card, making it a better choice for gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks. It also has a higher refresh rate screen, which is beneficial for smoother gameplay and fast-moving visuals. The LOQ 15i is more compact and has better performance scores across the board, but sacrifices some screen real estate compared to the Acer.
If you prioritize portability, performance, and are interested in gaming or engineering tasks, the Lenovo LOQ 15i is the way to go. However, if you're looking for a more affordable, general-use laptop with a larger display, and don't need top-tier performance, the Acer Aspire 5 17 would be sufficient. Give Feedback

How the Acer Aspire 5 17 and the Lenovo LOQ 15i compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire 5 17 laptop shows the expected strengths in the test. Besides the usual high build quality, the configuration convinces in most benchmarks and tests. The combination of CPU, GPU, and RAM is absolutely sufficient for the everyday office and browsing tasks of a laptop. It also renders the odd game passably if the requirements aren't too high. We liked the matte display in the test as well as the fairly manageable dimensions despite the screen size. It can also be used outdoors, even if it's certainly not a laptop designed for mobility."
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."
