If you prioritize a larger display and slightly longer battery life and don't mind a heavier laptop, the Acer Aspire 5 17 may be preferable. On the other hand, if you prefer better portability, higher screen resolution, and touch capability, along with a more compact design, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro would be a better fit. Additionally, the Lenovo offers twice the RAM for improved multitasking and is more suitable for tasks such as 3D rendering and engineering use, despite being a bit more expensive. Give Feedback

How the Acer Aspire 5 17 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire 5 17 laptop shows the expected strengths in the test. Besides the usual high build quality, the configuration convinces in most benchmarks and tests. The combination of CPU, GPU, and RAM is absolutely sufficient for the everyday office and browsing tasks of a laptop. It also renders the odd game passably if the requirements aren't too high. We liked the matte display in the test as well as the fairly manageable dimensions despite the screen size. It can also be used outdoors, even if it's certainly not a laptop designed for mobility."
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
