The Acer Aspire 5 17 offers a large 17.3-inch display, which might be easier for multitasking and productivity, but it's less powerful in terms of gaming or 3D tasks compared to the Gigabyte G5, which has a dedicated Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card. While both have similar storage and RAM, the Gigabyte G5's processor is better suited for demanding tasks, but it has a shorter battery life. The Acer is better for general use and longer work sessions away from the power outlet, whereas the Gigabyte excels in performance-heavy tasks like gaming or engineering applications. Give Feedback

How the Acer Aspire 5 17 and the Gigabyte G5 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire 5 17 laptop shows the expected strengths in the test. Besides the usual high build quality, the configuration convinces in most benchmarks and tests. The combination of CPU, GPU, and RAM is absolutely sufficient for the everyday office and browsing tasks of a laptop. It also renders the odd game passably if the requirements aren't too high. We liked the matte display in the test as well as the fairly manageable dimensions despite the screen size. It can also be used outdoors, even if it's certainly not a laptop designed for mobility."
"The Gigabyte G5 KE is a midrange gaming laptop that checks most boxes. Gigabyte makes good use of the Core i5-12500H and RTX 3060 Laptop GPU combo, and we find no untoward issues with overall performance. The dual-fan quad-heatpipe cooling arrangement does well to ensure that the underlying hardware doesn't throttle under load. That being said, the display is below par when compared to 2023 standards, especially when competing devices."
