The Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 5 17 for content creation, and software development.
For general use such as browsing and video streaming, both laptops have adequate resolution and brightness, providing a decent visual experience, but may not offer the crispness and vibrancy found in higher-end displays. In engineering and design, color accuracy is essential; these laptops offer fair color reproduction, but professionals might find them lacking compared to displays with wider color gamuts that ensure more precise hues. When it comes to 3D and gaming, the lower refresh rates on these laptops may lead to less smooth visuals, which is a disadvantage for fast-paced games or 3D applications that benefit from quicker screen updates.

How the Acer Aspire 5 17 and the Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire 5 17 laptop shows the expected strengths in the test. Besides the usual high build quality, the configuration convinces in most benchmarks and tests. The combination of CPU, GPU, and RAM is absolutely sufficient for the everyday office and browsing tasks of a laptop. It also renders the odd game passably if the requirements aren't too high. We liked the matte display in the test as well as the fairly manageable dimensions despite the screen size. It can also be used outdoors, even if it's certainly not a laptop designed for mobility."
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."
