If you favor better performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the XPG Xenia 14 may be a more suitable choice despite being somewhat more expensive than the Acer Aspire 5 15. However, if you prefer a laptop that is more budget-friendly and still offers good performance for general use and some engineering applications, then the Acer Aspire 5 15 might be the right option for you. The Acer Aspire 5 15 is also slightly larger and heavier which could impact portability compared to the lighter and more compact XPG Xenia 14. Keep in mind that the XPG Xenia 14 has a sharper display with a higher resolution which might be beneficial for tasks that require detailed visuals. Both laptops have similar battery capacities and thus should offer comparable battery life. Give Feedback

The XPG Xenia 14 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 5 15 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, the Acer Aspire 5 with its fair screen offers adequate resolution and brightness, but may not be as sharp or vivid as the XPG Xenia 14, which provides a higher quality display with better brightness and resolution for everyday tasks. In engineering and design, while both laptops have fair screens, the XPG Xenia 14 has a slight edge due to better color accuracy and range, important for detailed work like CAD or photo editing. However, when it comes to gaming and 3D applications, both laptops fall short due to their lower refresh rates, although they may handle moderate design tasks; serious gamers and 3D designers should consider models with higher refresh rates.

The XPG Xenia 14 and Acer Aspire 5 15 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Acer Aspire 5 15 and the XPG Xenia 14 are both assessed as fair for gaming and 3D tasks primarily because they share similar GPUs, which handle graphics processing adequately for light gaming, but are not top-of-the-line for more demanding modern gaming or 3D work. Additionally, both have the same screen refresh rate, which is standard for everyday use but may not be as smooth for high-frame-rate gaming, and while their CPUs and screen qualities are reasonably good, they are not the highest specs available that would otherwise enhance gaming and 3D performance significantly.

How the Acer Aspire 5 15 and the XPG Xenia 14 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire 5 15 is a good value office laptop with reasonable battery life. The combination of slim exterior, relatively low weight (approx. 1.7 kg) and 8 hour real-life battery runtime makes the Acer Aspire a truly mobile laptop. The modest Tiger Lake processor supports this area and simultaneously ensures an affordable price point. The Aspire produces little noise and stays cool. The screen (FHD, IPS) might not win any prizes but is entirely appropriate for the price."
"The Xenia 14 is a top 14-inch laptop under 1 kg. ADATA isn't exactly known for its laptops and so we weren't expecting much from its first 14-inch Ultrabook. With that said, we're pleasantly surprised by how well the Xenia 14 looks and performs. Not only is it incredibly light, but it has a color accurate 16:10 display, high CPU and GPU performance, easy RAM and SSD serviceability, plenty of port options including Thunderbolt 4, and long battery life. It packs a lot of punch and features considering the size and weight to be better than even the LG Gram series."
