When choosing between the Acer Aspire 5 and the MSI Stealth GS77, consider their performance and intended use. The Acer Aspire 5 offers modest performance at a lower cost, suitable for everyday tasks like web browsing, office work, and media consumption. It is lighter and offers good battery life, making it more portable. Conversely, the MSI Stealth GS77 has significantly higher performance thanks to a more powerful processor and dedicated graphics, ideal for demanding tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning. However, this comes at a premium price point, and the laptop is heavier, which may affect its portability. Additionally, the MSI laptop's higher-quality display is better for those who value sharp visuals for work or entertainment. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 5 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
When considering the Acer Aspire 5 for general use, its screen may be adequate due to acceptable resolution and brightness, but it may lack the superior color accuracy and higher resolutions beneficial for engineering and design tasks. The MSI Stealth GS77, with its higher quality display, offers better resolution and color fidelity, making it more suitable for precision tasks like engineering and design. However, both laptops have screens with lower refresh rates, which aren't ideal for the smooth visuals required for high-end gaming and 3D applications, where the speed at which the screen refreshes is crucial for an optimal experience.

"The Acer Aspire 5 15 is a good value office laptop with reasonable battery life. The combination of slim exterior, relatively low weight (approx. 1.7 kg) and 8 hour real-life battery runtime makes the Acer Aspire a truly mobile laptop. The modest Tiger Lake processor supports this area and simultaneously ensures an affordable price point. The Aspire produces little noise and stays cool. The screen (FHD, IPS) might not win any prizes but is entirely appropriate for the price."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
