The Acer Aspire 5 is an economical choice ideal for general use, with decent performance for everyday tasks like web browsing, office applications, and video streaming. It's relatively lightweight, which enhances its portability, and has a good battery life, useful for people who need a laptop on the go. In contrast, the Lenovo Legion 7i Pro is significantly pricier but offers top-of-the-line performance suitable for heavy-duty tasks such as gaming, 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering software. It has a far superior graphics card, more memory, and a higher resolution display, albeit with added weight and possibly lower battery life, which might affect its portability. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | November 2022
"The Acer Aspire 5 15 is a good value office laptop with reasonable battery life. The combination of slim exterior, relatively low weight (approx. 1.7 kg) and 8 hour real-life battery runtime makes the Acer Aspire a truly mobile laptop. The modest Tiger Lake processor supports this area and simultaneously ensures an affordable price point. The Aspire produces little noise and stays cool. The screen (FHD, IPS) might not win any prizes but is entirely appropriate for the price."

Florian Glaser | February 2023
"Passionate gamers who want to play demanding modern titles with maximum details and don't mind spending the moolah will find the Lenovo Legion 7 Pro to be the right choice. The bright, sharp, and color-accurate 16:10 QHD 240 Hz display makes for an immersive viewing experience. The hardware is housed in a stylish chassis that feels premium and scores well in terms of workmanship and stability. Other aspects such as sound quality, input devices, and connectivity also seem to be near-perfect."
