The Acer Aspire 5 15 is less expensive and offers a larger 15.6-inch display; however, its screen resolution is lower. It is heavier and thicker, possibly affecting portability. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro is more expensive with a higher resolution on a smaller 14-inch screen and a lighter, slimmer build for better portability. Both have similar storage and memory, and performance should be alike as they both use Intel Iris Xe graphics, but the IdeaPad's processor is a slightly older model. Give Feedback

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 5 15 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, where clear visuals and comfortable viewing are important, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro's superior resolution and brightness enhance the overall viewing experience compared to the more modest display of the Acer Aspire 5. In engineering and design, accurate color representation is crucial; the Lenovo benefits from a wider color gamut coverage, providing more precise hues needed for professional design tasks, while the Acer may fall short in color accuracy. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the high refresh rate is key to a smooth experience; both the Acer and the Lenovo may disappoint in this aspect, as neither are tailored towards the fast refresh rates needed for these uses.

How the Acer Aspire 5 15 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire 5 15 is a good value office laptop with reasonable battery life. The combination of slim exterior, relatively low weight (approx. 1.7 kg) and 8 hour real-life battery runtime makes the Acer Aspire a truly mobile laptop. The modest Tiger Lake processor supports this area and simultaneously ensures an affordable price point. The Aspire produces little noise and stays cool. The screen (FHD, IPS) might not win any prizes but is entirely appropriate for the price."
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
