The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 5 15 for general use, AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire 5 15 has a display that is adequate for everyday tasks due to its acceptable resolution and brightness, however, it falls short in color accuracy and gamut for engineering and design, and its refresh rate isn’t high enough to satisfy the smoothness required for gaming and 3D applications. The MacBook Pro 13 excels in color precision and brightness, with a panel that makes it excellent for general use and professional design work, but like the Acer, its standard refresh rate limits its effectiveness for 3D tasks where higher refresh rates are crucial. Overall, the MacBook Pro 13 offers a superior visual experience for most tasks except for high-refresh-rate-dependent activities like gaming or complex 3D modeling.

How the Acer Aspire 5 15 and the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire 5 15 is a good value office laptop with reasonable battery life. The combination of slim exterior, relatively low weight (approx. 1.7 kg) and 8 hour real-life battery runtime makes the Acer Aspire a truly mobile laptop. The modest Tiger Lake processor supports this area and simultaneously ensures an affordable price point. The Aspire produces little noise and stays cool. The screen (FHD, IPS) might not win any prizes but is entirely appropriate for the price."
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
