The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 offers a budget-friendly price and is notably less expensive compared to the LG Gram 17. If you prioritize savings and are looking for a versatile device that operates silently, it is a great option as it can switch between a laptop and a tablet. However, the LG Gram 17 provides more storage, a larger and more powerful processor, and a significantly larger display with higher resolution, making it a better choice for demanding tasks and immersive media experiences. It also features a longer battery life, which makes it ideal for extended use without charging, though it comes at a higher cost and with increased weight, which may affect portability. Choose the Acer if you want a convertible device at a lower cost with sufficient performance for everyday tasks, or the LG Gram for more power, a larger screen, and better visuals, assuming you're willing to invest more and deal with a slightly heavier laptop. The battery lasts around seven hours of light use, so you only have to plug it in for a short time to get through a typical school day. The overall user experience is so-so; the display looks sharp but dim, and the touchpad is fairly responsive, albeit small."
