The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is a budget-friendly option and may offer a solid balance of performance and cost for general use and lightweight tasks. However, if you are looking for better performance for more intensive engineering tasks, content creation, or light gaming, the Lenovo Yoga 6, though slightly more expensive, provides a stronger processor. The Yoga 6 is also more compact and lightweight, making it more portable, and it has a higher resolution screen which is better for multimedia consumption. Choose the Acer for a more budget-conscious choice and the Lenovo if you are willing to invest more for improved performance and portability. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Yoga 6 is good for engineering and design, while the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is poor.
The Lenovo Yoga 6 is better suited for engineering and design due to its more powerful AMD Ryzen 7 processor, double the RAM for handling complex tasks, and a higher-quality GPU for rendering, while also having a brighter and more color-accurate screen. In comparison, the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 has a less capable Intel i3 processor, less RAM, and an Intel UHD Graphics GPU that is adequate for basic tasks but not optimized for intensive engineering software or design work.

The Lenovo Yoga 6 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14's screen quality is adequate for general tasks due to its resolution and brightness but falls short for gaming due to a lower refresh rate, which is crucial for smooth visuals. The Lenovo Yoga 6, offering higher brightness and resolution, performs well for engineering and design where color accuracy is key, yet like the Acer, it lacks the high refresh rate needed for the best 3D gaming experience. Both of these laptops, while serviceable for everyday activities, won’t satisfy gaming enthusiasts or professionals who need the most fluent and crisp visuals for fast-paced games or high-end graphics work.

How the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 and the Lenovo Yoga 6 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | November 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and its compact design makes it easy to carry around. The battery lasts around seven hours of light use, so you only have to plug it in for a short time to get through a typical school day. The overall user experience is so-so; the display looks sharp but dim, and the touchpad is fairly responsive, albeit small."
"The AMD R7-7730U in the Lenovo Yoga 6 13 provides a suitable answer to the limited cooling capabilities of a convertible - especially in tablet mode. It draws high computing power from a comparatively limited power supply so that less heat has to be dissipated at the same time."
