The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is a budget-friendly device that's quite portable and comes with a touchscreen, making it suitable for general use and routine tasks. In contrast, the Lenovo Legion 7i Pro is significantly more expensive with high-end performance suited to intensive gaming, 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering work. As the Legion 7i Pro is equipped with a powerful processor and advanced graphics, it is heavier and less portable than the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14, which is something to consider if you move around often. When deciding between the two, consider whether portability or high-performance gaming and professional work is more important for your needs. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 provides an adequate display with respectable resolution and brightness for daily tasks and productivity software, making it suitable for general use and casual engineering tasks but lacking the advanced color gamuts required for precise design work. The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i offers a display with richer color reproduction and higher resolution, enhancing the visual detail and color accuracy crucial for professional engineering and design applications. However, both laptops fall short for 3D and gaming due to their lower refresh rates, which can lead to less smooth visuals and slower response times, detracting from the immersive experience expected in these scenarios.

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | November 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and its compact design makes it easy to carry around. The battery lasts around seven hours of light use, so you only have to plug it in for a short time to get through a typical school day. The overall user experience is so-so; the display looks sharp but dim, and the touchpad is fairly responsive, albeit small."
"Passionate gamers who want to play demanding modern titles with maximum details and don't mind spending the moolah will find the Lenovo Legion 7 Pro to be the right choice. The bright, sharp, and color-accurate 16:10 QHD 240 Hz display makes for an immersive viewing experience. The hardware is housed in a stylish chassis that feels premium and scores well in terms of workmanship and stability. Other aspects such as sound quality, input devices, and connectivity also seem to be near-perfect."
