The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 offers better performance, more storage, and a higher-quality screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14". Its 2-in-1 convertible design allows for use as both a laptop and a tablet, more RAM for multitasking, and a more recent processor for quicker operation. Also, it comes with a fanless design for silent operation. However, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14" is generally much more affordable and lighter, which could be ideal for simple tasks, basic use, and those prioritizing budget and portability. If you need a laptop for more demanding tasks and versatility, and you're okay with a higher price, the Acer would be the better choice. If your use is mostly for web browsing, documents, and media consumption, and you want to save money, the Lenovo might be sufficient. Give Feedback

How the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14" compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | November 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and its compact design makes it easy to carry around. The battery lasts around seven hours of light use, so you only have to plug it in for a short time to get through a typical school day. The overall user experience is so-so; the display looks sharp but dim, and the touchpad is fairly responsive, albeit small."
"The IdeaPad 1 14 is a simple machine, but it’s well-designed and has nearly everything you’d expect from a no-nonsense laptop that allows you to check emails and get schoolwork or other light tasks done with relative ease. A "true" 128GB SSD (as opposed to an eMMC drive) and a roomy 14-inch full HD display are arguably the star attractions, with the comfortable keyboard and reasonably modern styling playing important backup roles."
