If you are looking for a budget-friendly, lightweight laptop for general use and prefer longer battery life and a touchscreen, the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 would suit you well. It will not handle intensive tasks like 3D rendering or engineering simulations effectively due to its more modest processor and integrated graphics. On the other hand, the Gigabyte Aorus 7 is more expensive but offers powerful performance for gaming, 3D work, and engineering tasks with its dedicated graphics card and stronger processor. However, it is heavier with a larger screen which may affect its portability, and its battery life is shorter than the Acer. Give Feedback

Rtings

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | November 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and its compact design makes it easy to carry around. The battery lasts around seven hours of light use, so you only have to plug it in for a short time to get through a typical school day. The overall user experience is so-so; the display looks sharp but dim, and the touchpad is fairly responsive, albeit small."

TechRadar

Matt Hanson | July 2020
"The Gigabyte Aorus 7 is a gaming laptop that is pitched at perhaps the hardest market to get right: the mid-range. So, unlike high-end gaming laptops that can throw the latest and greatest components together in a bid to attract gamers with plenty of money to spend, or budget gaming laptops that can make wise cuts that are justified as long as the price is low enough, mid-rangers like the Gigabyte Aorus 7 have to balance the two."
