If you prioritize long battery life and a higher-quality display for creative work or entertainment, the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15, with its OLED screen, may be the right choice, although it is less portable and more expensive. However, if you're looking for something more budget-friendly, with enough performance for everyday tasks and a lighter, fanless design for easy carrying, then the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 would suffice. Keep in mind, the Acer's lower storage and processing power might not be suitable for intensive engineering tasks or heavy multitasking like the ASUS can handle. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 is good for general use, while the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is only fair.
The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 has a less powerful Intel i3 processor and 8GB of RAM, meaning it could lag in demanding tasks, whereas ASUS Zenbook Pro 15's AMD Ryzen 7 and 16GB of RAM provide smooth performance for more intensive applications. The Zenbook also boasts superior screen quality with its OLED display and longer battery life, enhancing user experience for longer sessions, but is less portable due to its heavier weight, as compared to the lighter and more versatile 2-in-1 design of the Acer Spin.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 is only fair for gaming and AI, while the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is poor.
The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 has an integrated graphics unit which is less powerful than the dedicated Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU in the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15, leading to differences in their gaming and 3D capabilities. However, both have a screen with a refresh rate of 60Hz, which might not be ideal for very fast-paced games that benefit from higher refresh rates.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 is good for engineering and design, while the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is poor.
The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 offers higher performance suited for engineering and design due to its powerful AMD Ryzen 7 processor, dedicated Nvidia RTX graphics, and double the memory in comparison to the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14's lesser Intel i3 processor and integrated graphics. Additionally, the Zenbook Pro has a superior OLED screen which provides better color accuracy and brightness, enhancing visual design tasks, although it is heavier and possibly less portable than the Spin 14, which may appeal to those prioritizing a lighter device for mobility.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 offers sufficient resolution and brightness for everyday tasks, but its limited color range and slower refresh rate make it less ideal for specialized work such as engineering, design, and especially 3D applications or gaming. The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 boasts a higher-quality display that delivers vibrant colors and crisper visuals suitable for professional creative work, but like the Acer, it falls short for gaming or 3D work due to its inadequate refresh rate. Both laptops are well-suited for general and professional use but are not tailored for the fast-refresh demands of gaming and 3D rendering.

"The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and its compact design makes it easy to carry around. The battery lasts around seven hours of light use, so you only have to plug it in for a short time to get through a typical school day. The overall user experience is so-so; the display looks sharp but dim, and the touchpad is fairly responsive, albeit small."
"The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 offers a strong CPU, chassis, and display. One of the most popular 15.6-inch prosumer or multimedia laptops out there is the Dell XPS 15. Thus, comparisons between it and the Asus Zenbook Pro 15 are inevitable. Asus has a couple of tricks up its sleeve that XPS users are still missing out on including 1080p OLED and an AMD Ryzen CPU which help separate the Zenbook Pro 15 from the XPS 15. It also integrates a numpad and a few more port options albeit at the cost of a larger chassis size."
