When choosing between the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 and the ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED, consider the following tradeoffs: if you prioritize higher storage capacity, a more vibrant screen with better color range, faster refresh rates, and higher performance for tasks like 3D rendering or intensive engineering software, the ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED is a stronger option despite being more expensive. On the other hand, for basic general use like web browsing, office applications, and cost savings, the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is an adequate, more budget-friendly choice, although it has less storage and its screen and performance are not as impressive as the ASUS. The ASUS also has a better battery life but is slightly heavier, which might affect portability to a small degree. Give Feedback

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | November 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and its compact design makes it easy to carry around. The battery lasts around seven hours of light use, so you only have to plug it in for a short time to get through a typical school day. The overall user experience is so-so; the display looks sharp but dim, and the touchpad is fairly responsive, albeit small."
"While one of the more budget-friendly configurations of the Asus Zenbook 14X OLED may make a compelling case as a top value pick, it’s difficult to be disappointed with the more expensive model we reviewed here. At its core, for all models, it’s a luxury-built laptop with extreme portability and a gorgeous OLED display. Our unit rocks with a snappy Core i9 processor for getting real work done, and the discrete GPU—even if it has a clear power ceiling—is a bonus for creative pros."
