The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 offers more storage, higher RAM, and a newer generation i3 processor, which makes it better for general use and multitasking compared to the ASUS Vivobook Go 15, which has less storage and RAM, and an older Celeron processor. The Acer also has a touchscreen with better resolution and an IPS display, providing better color and viewing angles, which is beneficial for design and photo editing tasks. However, the Acer is typically more expensive than the ASUS. The ASUS offers a larger screen size but lower display quality with a TN panel and is not a touchscreen. It is cheaper and thus may be a better option for those with a tight budget who mainly need a laptop for basic tasks like web browsing and document editing. Give Feedback

The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook Go 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 has a color-accurate display with higher resolution, making it suitable for tasks like browsing and document editing, which is why it's fair for general use and engineering, but its lower refresh rate makes it less ideal for gaming. The ASUS Vivobook Go 15's screen lacks in resolution and color accuracy compared to the Acer, leading to a poor experience across the board for all three uses. For engineering and design tasks specifically, lacking a wide color gamut on both models means less precision in color-sensitive work, whereas for gaming, both laptops' displays fall short on delivering smooth visuals due to low refresh rates.

The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 and ASUS Vivobook Go 15 are both poor for gaming and AI.
The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 offers a somewhat better experience for gaming and 3D tasks, thanks to its superior integrated GPU, the Intel UHD Graphics Xe, and IPS display, which generally provides better color reproduction and viewing angles compared to the ASUS Vivobook Go 15's older Intel UHD Graphics 600 and lower-quality TN panel. Both laptops are limited to a 60 Hz screen refresh rate, but the Acer's slightly better GPU and screen quality make it the more suitable option for such tasks, despite neither being ideal for intensive gaming.

How the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 and the ASUS Vivobook Go 15 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | November 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and its compact design makes it easy to carry around. The battery lasts around seven hours of light use, so you only have to plug it in for a short time to get through a typical school day. The overall user experience is so-so; the display looks sharp but dim, and the touchpad is fairly responsive, albeit small."
"The Asus Vivobook Go 15 is a good option if you’re looking for one device to tackle a bunch of smaller problems. For simple school studies, portable evening entertainment or distractions, and getting household admin or light office workloads out of the way, it’s a great little package with respectable battery life, and a great contender for the advent of cloud gaming."
