When considering the Acer Aspire 3 and the MSI Stealth 18 AI Studio, the main considerations are the price and purpose of the laptop. The Acer is more budget-friendly and will handle general use like web browsing, office tasks, and media consumption well. However, for high-end gaming, 3D rendering, machine learning, or intensive engineering software, the MSI offers significantly better performance and features but comes with a higher cost and typically shorter battery life. The MSI is also less portable due to a larger size which may not be ideal if mobility is crucial for you. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth 18 AI Studio has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Acer Aspire 3's screen may suffice with adequate resolution and brightness but without the crispness or vibrancy found in higher-end models, while the MSI Stealth's superior panel type and resolution result in a more pleasing visual experience. Engineering and design tasks benefit from MSI's higher color accuracy and range, ensuring that designers see true-to-life colors, whereas the Acer's more limited color gamut may result in less precise color representation. The MSI's screen, although very good for static images, lacks the high refresh rate desired for smooth rendering in 3D applications and gaming, which is also an area where the Acer falls short.

Alexander Tozzi, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
