The MSI Raider GE67Hx is very good for general use, while the Acer Aspire 3 15 is only fair.
The Acer Aspire 3 15 is fair for general use with its basic CPU, ample RAM for everyday tasks, standard screen quality, notable portability due to its lower weight, and longer battery life. In contrast, the MSI Raider GE67Hx offers superior general use performance with a much more powerful CPU, double the RAM for more demanding applications, higher resolution OLED screen for crisp visuals, but sacrifices some portability due to higher weight and has a shorter battery life.

The MSI Raider GE67Hx is very good for gaming and AI, while the Acer Aspire 3 15 is poor.
The MSI Raider GE67Hx is rated very good for gaming and 3D due to its high-performance Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card and an exceptionally high screen refresh rate, which provides smoother visuals in fast-paced scenes. In contrast, the Acer Aspire 3 15, with a less powerful AMD Radeon 610M GPU and a standard refresh rate, offers a fair experience that is sufficient for casual gaming but not optimized for intense graphic demands.

The MSI Raider GE67Hx has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
In general use, the Acer Aspire 3 has a screen that offers a basic level of clarity and brightness, which is fine for everyday tasks, whereas the MSI Raider's superior resolution and panel type ensure crisper and more vibrant images. For engineering and design, the MSI Raider excels because it covers a wider range of colors, making it ideal for tasks requiring color accuracy, but the Acer Aspire 3, with a more limited color range, is less suitable for professional design work. When it comes to 3D and gaming, the MSI Raider's shortfall is its refresh rate, which is crucial for smooth motion; despite its excellent resolution and panel type, without a high refresh rate, fast-paced visuals won't be as fluid as desired.

Alexander Tozzi, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
"If you've wanted to dip your toes into PC gaming but can't let go of your console roots, the MSI Raider GE67 HX stakes out an attractive middle ground between the speed and versatility of PC gaming and the comfort and ease of a console. If you can overlook its noisy fans and chintzy touchpad, the Raider provides a powerhouse entertainment experience with an OLED screen that tops most household TVs. It's not cheap, but this gaming machine is more than the sum of its parts."
