If you prioritize battery life and a larger screen for activities like watching movies and working with spreadsheets, the Acer Aspire 3 15 is a budget-friendly option with a decent screen size. However, for more intense workloads such as engineering software, the Dell Latitude 5330, while more expensive, offers better performance and a higher quality keyboard, and it is also more portable due to its smaller size and lighter weight, making it suitable for professionals who need power on the go. Neither of these laptops is ideal for intensive gaming or tasks that require high-end graphics capabilities. Give Feedback

The Dell Latitude 5330 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 15 for content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Acer Aspire 3 and Dell Latitude 5330 have screens that provide adequate sharpness and brightness, but they might lack the vividness and wide viewing angles offered by higher-end panel types. In the realm of engineering and design, both laptops deliver sufficient resolution for detailed work, yet they fall short on color accuracy and range, which are crucial for professional-grade color work. While the displays are serviceable for casual gaming, both laptops do not offer the high refresh rates demanded by competitive gaming or the creation of dynamic 3D content, leading to less fluid motion and responsiveness.

Although they have very similar scores, PerfectRec considers Dell Latitude 5330 to be only fair for gaming and AI, while the Acer Aspire 3 15 is poor.
The Acer Aspire 3 15 and Dell Latitude 5330 are both fair for gaming and 3D applications due to their modest graphical capabilities and standard screen refresh rates; the former with an AMD Radeon GPU and the latter with Intel Iris Xe graphics, both refreshing at 60Hz which is adequate for casual gaming but not ideal for fast-paced or professional gaming where higher refresh rates are preferred. The Acer Aspire 3's generally lower performance GPU compared to the Latitude 5330's Intel Iris Xe means it may not handle intensive graphics as smoothly, and while the Latitude has a better CPU aiding performance, both have display qualities that do not necessarily enhance gaming or 3D experiences beyond a basic level.

How the Acer Aspire 3 15 and the Dell Latitude 5330 compare to other laptops
Alexander Tozzi, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
