If portability and longer battery life are high on your list, the Acer Aspire 3 15 will serve you well and it's more affordable, but you'll make sacrifices in storage capacity and computing power compared to the Dell Inspiron 14 7435. For those seeking better performance for tasks like engineering or heavier workloads and a higher resolution touchscreen display, and if you're ok with a higher price, the Dell Inspiron may be the better choice. It also has a larger storage capacity and more RAM, which is essential for demanding applications, but it's slightly less portable and has a shorter battery life compared to the Acer. Give Feedback

How the Acer Aspire 3 15 and the Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 compare to other laptops
Alexander Tozzi, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."
